Resources and Tools
A few of my prefered and frequently used sites and resources that are invaluable when it comes to marketing and working digitally.
My favourite online print and design company that is passionate about great design and the difference it can make to customers and the world.
You'll get emails from Little Moo, while Big Moo does the printing and shipping. With a number of great paper stock options, spot gloss, gold foil and stickers, Moo is a great resource for business big and small who want impactful print.
Excellent for anyone that spends a lot of time in front of a screen and types faster then you can spell check. It's the real world, internet-wide spell check that you've been waiting for. Use it in emails, social media posts and as storage for your longer writing.
A good sticker is fine, a great stickers gets stuck on everything. From packaging to branding, giveaways to promo, I love stickers. And Stickermule does some of the best.
They print die cuts, sheets, reverse decals, packing tape and mailers. Get on their email lists, their special sales are great for small order runs.
Founded 4 years ago as a humble Tumblr blog, Unsplash has grown into an industry-leading photography community. It’s become a source of inspiration for everyone from award-winning writers like Deepak Chopra to industry-titans like Apple, and millions of creators worldwide.
All photos published on Unsplash can be used for free. You can use them for commercial and noncommercial purposes. You do not need to ask permission from or provide credit to the photographer or Unsplash, although it is appreciated when possible.
Not a design resources but a wonderful organization I support. Kiva is a 501(c)3 U.S. nonprofit that provides micro loans and financing internationally. By lending in $25 increments on Kiva, anyone can help a borrower start or grow a business, go to school, access clean energy or realize their potential. The best part is that with each loan repayment, you can then re-lend the balance to a new lender.
